Our Philosophy
Horizons Tutoring was founded by a teacher in the Houston area who knows students and their needs. He is more than a just another businessman, making each child's educational needs his top priority. He has learned through 27 years of teaching that children often need that one-on-one attention they so often cannot get in the classroom setting.
At Horizons Tutoring, we believe that success is a critical component in every child's motivation. Success breeds more success, and we strive to provide those successful experiences for every child.
In other words, we believe every student CAN learn once learning is turned into a positive experience instead of another failure!
That's our belief, and we work hard to instill it in every one of our clients.
We also believe that an in-home consultation is the best way to achieve an understanding about the student's academic needs. Part of that consultation may include a diagnostic test in math or reading. Horizons doesn't believe in exorbitant registration and diagnostic testing fees. We believe in providing quality tutoring at an affordable price! That's a winning combination for the students and parents of the Metro Houston area.
